Az UO írásfejlesztő toll piacra kerülése előtt szakemberek bevonásával, iskolai és óvodai környezetben teszteltük a tollat. A tesztek eredményei bebizonyították, hogy a toll valóban fejlesztő hatással van a felhasználókra. A gyerekek hamar megbarátkoztak a toll egyedi formájával, szívesen írtak vele. Sőt, a sikerélmények hatására varázstollnak nevezték el.
Tesztjeink vezetője, Bagóné Domokos Márta (oligofrénpedagógus, óvódapedagógus, mentálhygiénikus, tehetséggondozó) készítette az UO toll fejlesztőtervét, illetve felügyelte hivatalos tesztjeinket.
